Symposium:“The World of Komparu Family Historical Documents: What Records Tell Us About the Komparu Family’s Development”

A symposium was held on the subject of historical documents handed down within the Komparu family. This symposium consisted of five presentations by the following researchers: MIYAMOTO Keiz., TAKAHASHI Y.suke, ISHII Tomoko, FUKAZAWA Nozomi, and KOBAYASHI Kenji. The symposium closed with an interview with KOMPARU Yasuaki, head of Komparu school, which was conducted by MIYAMOTO Keiz. and YAMANAKA Reiko. The symposium was attended by 152 participants. A related exhibit on these materials is currently being held until 6 October 2014.
