Centre-led Collaborative Research
1. Interdisciplinary Research on Nōgaku Based on Literature Sources
“The Interdisciplinary Research on Nōgaku Based on Literary Sources” aims to strengthen the foundations of nōgaku (nō and kyōgen) research and open up new academic potentials, making the centre’s archival collection accessible to a wider public and conducting joint research based on those materials.
2. International and Interdisciplinary Nōgaku Research from New Perspectives
“The International and Interdisciplinary Nōgaku Research from New Perspectives” aims to broaden the scope of nōgaku research by collaborating with researchers from various fields both domestically and internationally. We encourage the participation of scholars with new perspectives from diverse fields, with the aim of elucidating various elements of nōgaku studies and performance and applying them to other fields in an unprecedented way.
