New Release: Buddhist Vocabulary Database (beta)
We are pleased to announce the release of the Buddhist vocabulary database (beta). This is a compilation of Buddhism-related words and phrases quoted in noh chants, and provides explanations of the scenes the vocabulary in question is used as well as its original meaning. You can also look up the outline of each play, schools that are currently performing it, and performance records in the Muromachi period. Currently available in Japanese only.
The database can be accessed from the top page of the website.
