The Reenactment of Kishūh-han’s Kishū-jishi Performance Recording

A reenactment of Kishu-han’s Kisyū-jishi (early Edo period) was held concurrently with events to commemorate the renewal of the Wakayama Castle Museum. The reenactment focused on the Ranjo, a feature of the Kishū-jishi. Production materials related to Kishū-han were read and studied. Noh performance study meetings and rehearsals were held in cooperation with Noh actors, and the performance and recording of the Kishū-jishi was held on February 25th. The video of the performance has been publicly screened at Wakayama Castle Museum.
